Greetings from Atlanta

Hey everyone, I'm new to SB and just wanted to say hi. I've got an Advanced Open Water cert from Australia, and I've been diving the Great Barrier Reef (amazing experience! if you haven't been and want to, I highly recommend the Mike Ball expeditions, a bit pricier than the others but they definitely make it worth your while). I've moved to Atlanta, and am trying to find the hot spots in the U.S. Anyone have any recommendations in the top half of Florida, i.e. Pensacola or Destin?

You might consider posting in one of the Florida subforums for specific local information. If you're interested in something closer to home, consider PMing DIR-Atlanta, who lives there, and should be able to steer you to the more interesting sites at reasonable distances.

Welcome to the Board. Sounds like you've had some interesting experience.

Pensacola is a great destination. It's an easy trip from ATL and a great weekend excursion. Lots of sites to choose from and many excellent operators to take you there.
