I'm currently living in Miami while traveling frequently to San Francisco for work. I will eventually live in SF when all the training is complete.

I've come to the boards in search of information in no particular area of interest. I've yet to do anything boring past 30ft. As a Biomedical Engineer and am interested in the technical physiology aspects as well as the adventure of wreck diving and the amazing variety of animal life.

Welcome to the forum. I used to live in the Bay Area as well. If you haven't checked it out yet - the best diving in that area is going to be a drive south to Monterey and also worth it to drive over the mountain and dive Lake Tahoe. For Monterey, I like the Monterey Express or several great shore dives as well. For Tahoe, check out Dive Tahoe for a list of local shops and the 1 and only dive boat on the lake. have fun!
