Greetings and salutations! Help?

In the immortal words of Doctor Nick: "Hello Everybody!"

I'm Chris, I live in Oakland, CA, and I am about to do my OW dives to obtain the first in what I plan on being a very long chain of certifications. I want to make diving my job and my life, and I'm scared as hell to be taking the road less traveled.

I'll be asking for lots of guidance here, and hope to even meet/dive with some of you. I will shortly be releasing a barrage of questions, and any help, advice, moral support or free gear you provide will get you the greatest prize in all the universe. My undying gratitude!
