Hi All,

Cheers from the U.P. of Michigan!

X-diver here was lost, but now I'm found. Dove fanatically in the late 70's early 80's, before some of my previously owned equip started to cr@p out. Also was time to leave for college, so I gave up the sport I loved.

Now after about five years of relentless stories, my wife has agreed to take the class. We begin next week and will do our check out dive at the end of April in Florida. She also wants to do a 10-year anniversary trip to Coz (where we had our honeymoon), which is what finally tipped the scale.

FIY: Deep Sea Detective 5-hour marathon on the History channel tomorrow. Programs run 7:00 am to 12:00 pm CST and 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm CST. Fire up the tevo or VCR.

Best regards,
Fritz

First I am going to St. Maarten in April with my wife. We are already planning on heading to Saba to dive for 4 days.
Suggestions of where to go who to dive with if we want to have a decent of level of dive freedom? You know what I mean - No DMs banging on the tanks that the dive is over after 35 mins at 40ft. : )
Is St. Maarten really that bad?
And if you have suggestions for Deep Sea Detectives web site let me hear them... the guys want to cater to their fans, and what you all want on the site to come shortly (along with a slew of new episodes)!

thanks,
divingdog :D

Thanks for the heads up!!! My DVR will be set!

I wish I'd seen your post earlier - I've been wanting to catch some of the older Deep Sea Detectives shows, especially the ones about cave diving and the U-352!

Welcome to the board and thanks for the info,
Grie

Fritz,
