Judging from your post ( volunteers have big hearts) you will fit in here perfectly. You will love diving in Cozumel. You are so lucky to be spending so much time there this summer.

Well I'll be - another "enchanting" member has joined the scuba board. WELCOME!

Based on your description, I'm assuming you're north of me. I live just outside of Santa Fe, which is about a two hour drive southeast to the Blue Hole in Santa Rosa. I haven't experienced it yet (only been in NM for about 1 year), but did leave my name with an LDS in ABQ. Perhaps I'll join them when they take a group out for certification.

I too will be soaking in the warm waters of the Yucatan next month.

Lots of great people here with boat loads of information.

To be lazy and answer questions only once: I live in the N. central mountains out side a tiny little village (96 people). The closest diving I know of is The Blue Hole. Haven't done that yet, it be too cold for my warm water blood.

Sounds like Red River, NM to me. Went there when I was in high school. I lived in :alien: Roswell :alien: for about 15 years.
