hello guys, just stop by to say hi. I am AOW with 24 logs now and i dove perhentian and sipadan + semporna. Looking forward to become a DM and may be an instructor, but yet the price scare the hell of me :shocked2:

hi, i checked on the thailand's, the price is surprisingly higher then i expected. Semporna looks not a bad deal though. Been looking for internship program out there where i can paid off the DM course but couldn't get any so far

One question for you since you seem to know Semporna well. We are coming to Semporna on the way back from Sipadan. We deboard Semporna at 9 a.m. and our flight leaves on that evening, so we do not know what to do for the whole deco day. Any suggestions on what to do or where to hang out for the day? Thank you,

You've dived in some great places during your first 24 dives. Congratulations and enjoy the ride.
Hey dude, nah, i never checked on that one, thanks for the info, i gonna try my luck now.
I don't really know semporna well lol :shocked2: my flight was at the 9pm as well, and i spent my day asking the DM course here and there :LOL: It is a very small and crappy town to me. seriously nothing much there. there was this fish market few steps next to the dock and crowded with people, i couldn't make my way in because of the people and the smell. you can see the crocodile fish there lol.
There are agents running river cruise tour where you get to see flocks of bat and Proboscis Monkeys, plus a BBQ dinner but the tour ends only at the 8pm, so probably too late for the flight. If you just want to chill out may be you can spend some time at the mabul cafe, it is next to the scuba junkie and i liked the food a lot. Dragon inn looks like kinda place to spend a cozy afternoon too, it is the resort that on your left hand side when you heading back to semporna from the islands.
Still, a snorkeling trip to nearby island sounds like a better option!
Thanks, my plan was to stop after the sipadan but nobody warn me that people couldn't stop diving once they started it!
