Got my certification when I was 14, about 23 years ago. Haven't dove much in the past 5 years or so, got furloughed from my job, kids, wife, all that fun stuff. I am looking to start up again this spring, I have a 9 years old daughter that is crazy about the water, when she grows up she wants to own an aquarium and be a shark researcher. Her bedroom is painting like the bottom of the ocean. A month or so ago, she told me "It would be cool if I could become a scuba diver!":D So I started looking into it again. I want to get my skills honed before I let her in the water. But I think in a year or so, I will let her take classes. She has read my old Naui textbook and knows how to read the dive tables. We may not have coral reefs in Wisconsin, but I think she'll love it!:)
