I have a little strap that clips my fins to my BC. When I have to walk to the dive location geared up and ready to dive, I clip them to my BC and I have both hands free. When I don't need it, it is easily tucked away.

Ditto!
Also, stick-on lenses, turning my mask into bifocals.

After reading some of the posts about stupid things that divers regretted buying, I wondered what was at the other end of the spectrum. What has anyone purchased for diving that met or exceeded your expections? Anything that, if lost, would be on the list of immediate replacement items? As of today, nothing comes to mind for me. Every single piece of gear I own represents some type of compromise. The more expensive the piece, usually the higher my expection and sometimes the more I am disappointed.

It is quality that sticks with you. Like my Atomic B1/T2 reg, (effortless), my Uwatec Dive Master SPG, Oceanic Shadow Mask and my Apollo Bio XT fins. Quality has a way of gaining its own respect.
