Well, hello to all, if anyone even reads this... I probably wouldn't? Anyway, I'm currently in a NAUI scuba cert program thru my college. I'm new to diving, but I have gone a few times with other experienced friends down to around 50 ft. I've always wanted to get into it more, but I want to be in better control of my safety then another diver. Also, the equipment is pricey and there isn't a dive shop to rent from near where I was living. Luckily, now that I'm attending college, a dive shop has just shortened its distance from me enough to make it worth my while to go there to rent... I plan on diving lake mi and the inland lakes in the area alot, even if there isn't much to see. I just hope to have decent visibility. So, I look forward to posting with you all and I'll be having many ongoing questions as I learn more, especially about the meanings of the hundreds of acronyms I've seen when going over other dive related posts. Later folks... JD
