Had an awesome dive today at Casino Point vis was spectacular easy 100' in the am and 50' to 75' in the afternoon. Started with the Su-jac @ 90' in the sand I rolled over on my back and watched the bubbles all the way to the surface. The water was a crystal clear blue , kelp standing vertical , no current , no surge , teaming with fish and aquatic life everywhere. What was nice to see was all the offspring from all species of fish and lots of kelp bass / calico bass.

2nd dive was on the three wrecks north of the stairs out @ the bouy line in 70 fsw again super clear water slight current , lots of marine life , huge torepedo ray , all around great diving at Casino Point 10+.

Wonderful, thanks for the report. How was the water temp?
I need to make it over there again soon. The last two times we went we had our luggage weighted and since it was over 50 lbs, had to break it into 2 bags plus tank.

Thanks..those boats seem to be the place for torpedo rays..saw one there twice in last month. Great report...wish I were there.

Water temp was 63 deg @ 90' on the Su-jac and 60 deg @ 75' on the three wrecks straight out from stairs.:cool2:

Dark, rainy day at the park today. Good vis (40'+) but not much life out. Nasty surge in the shallows, but no current or anything once you hit depth. The first hour of my dive was a little disappointing, but near the end found a large ray sleeping on the sailboat which was awesome. Hopefully tomorrow is bright and sunny :)
