Thanks. My plan on today's dive was to take macro photos (with my Nikonos 3), but the wierd Ikelite strobe-to-Nikonos camera adapter kept moving out of alignment and the strobe wouldn't fire. I'll have to sort that out. Luckily , I brought my housed wide-angle setup as well (you never know when you'll come across mating Cadborosauruses). Most of the colourful stuff was covered by the stalked kelp that was always floating in front of the lens or strobe. I'll definitely have to come back in the winter when everything is uncovered.
