Anyone know or have experience with chart kits for GPS? Mine only comes with street maps and that doesn't really help me. MapTech has some but they're $175!!! Thanks.

Get a Yoeman chart from Maptech for the area you want and then get the cheapest GPS handheld out there... go to Staples and get the Magellan GPS 315X... then simply use a Lonely Planet guide and some chart know-how and that's it!
 
I'm getting the same advice from lots of people. I'll give it a try. Thanks!
