Hi all! I'm going to start doing some boat diving off of my 21 foot deckboat. I live in Southern California and plan to visit Wreck Alley, Catalina, the Channel Islands etc. I'm wondering what would be the best most cost efficient GPS to purchase.
Can anyone help?

Also, I love diving with my pony bottle. Any suggestions for traveling with one?

THanks!!

Howdy!

I want to be the first - if I hurry - in welcoming you to SB. Hope to get to know you around the forums.

Air travel with a Pony is a pet subject of mine. Run a Search for Pony on General Travel, and you'll see me a lot. My last trip was last weekend, and it's posted there.

Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving discussions. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.

Welcome to Scubaboard! The intro's and greeting forum isn't really the best place to get your answers. Maybe posting your GPS question in the Boat Diving Forum would get you more responses.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

You also might try posting in the SoCal section of the California Kelp Divers forum. Some of the local guys might have some preferences that they might want to share with you.

Don't forget to fill out your profile and dive info, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.
