Did a nice, 75-minute dive with Kalvyn and a couple other buddies at Titlow last night. Man, I have never seen so many octopus on a single dive ... there were at least 20 GPOs tucked into the ledges (some in pairs) ... and several smaller reds out in the open. Heck, some of those ledges looked like high-density condos ... there was an octopus tucked into every crevice ... sometimes almost touching each other. We also spotted a pair of wolf eels protecting a den full of eggs.

We got in a bit early, and had to kick against some current for the first 20 minutes or so ... but after that things slowed down and we were able to enjoy the ride.

I still missed seeing a lumpsucker, although everyone says they're plentiful there. I don't have much success at spotting those little critters, usually.

Vis was a bit on the cloudy side, but overall good enough to enable five divers to keep track of each other. Overall an awesome dive ...
