Whenever you talk to anyone who's taken the course they will tell you that "it's one of the best, most rewarding classes you can take."

Well, I can now add my voice to the chorus. I can honestly say that I am a far more capable, more confident, more aware, safer diver than I was 72 hrs ago.

I'm also very happy I was able to take part in all the rescue scenarios we reviewed, and to know that - if only in theory - I know how to handle each and every one of them.

Not saying that I am completely and absolutely prepared to flawlessly execute if and when the time comes, but certainly I've taken the first step in learning and applying the techniques I've been taught..

Excellent. I'm doing my second week this week. Not sure when the Open Water dives will take place.

Congrats to both of you!

Congratulations. I hope you never have to use any of it.

Excellent - yes it is a great class. Congrats!

Congratulations....I just got my Rescue card on Saturday! :D

Someone may need you one day and you will be there and ready...Congratulations...

BIG congrats Ray... It will definately boost your scuba "confidence quotient" too. I didn't sleep the entire week before my ocean dives-- I was sooo nervous! I am 93 lbs & 5'2" & I SERIOUSLY didn't think I could pull it off... Lo & behold-- I got the 250 lbs "victim" for both my "surfacing" & "unrespsonive diver/towing with rescue breaths" scenarios... Wind chop, waves, surf-- not fun...("I will not cry, I will not cry...") But I actually pulled it off (just like my instructors said I could) & am a better diver because of it. So puff your chest out & be proud-- Rescue Diver!
