A LDS down here in Florida Force-E was having a big tent sale selling off all sorts of stuff this weekend. Anyways Friday night was the unannounced beginning of the sale for those on the email list and I picked up a Titan LX, aqualung octo of some sort and Seaquest Pro QD+(no surelock) for $450...about 6 months used. The BC short of some scuffs on the plastic air release doohicky looks brand spanking new, and seems to work fine. Havn't tried the regulator(or the BC) in water yet but I did rent a Titan LX awhile ago. Thought it breathed ok, only really tried that and some sort of scuba pro reg.

Anyways looking at the prices on Leisurepro I think I did pretty well. Just wondering what people thought of the equipment? I was told I have the manufacturures full warrenty, just need to bring it to them for servicing the next two years.

Thanks,
Matt

It is very good equipment and will work well for many years. The titan LX is a very good reg. The Pro QD even with the velcro weight pockets is a great bc for a jacket style. I don't think you will be the least bit upset with your purchase.
Here in the midwest you would expect to pay $450.00 for the bc, $395.00 for the titan LX, $110.00 for the octo new.

Im not so sure about that 450 for the sea quest.

Dont get me wrong Ive got one with velcro and its a great BC I love it, but I know I didnt pay more than 400 for it at my LDS.

And you paid that much for it when it was used, and velcro. At my LDS I can get a Velcro Pro QD+ for 350 now that they have introduced the surelock system.

But anyway enjoy the new equipment.

I think that he got both the BC and the reg for $450 not just the BC

I didn't pay 450 for just the BC, I paid it for everything...the bc, the titan lx, and the octo. Then I kept going back with the $5 coupon they emailed at buying weights :P I'm a bastard, it's true.

Oh ok my mistake. You did get a good deal then.

When I first read it I was like I feel sorry for this poor fool that just got ripped off. But looks like I was mistaken. Sounds like you might have kinda ripped them off instead.

Anyway good luck with the new gear, and enjoy it.
