Well as you have guessed, you can't scuba dive with out some sort of breathing medium. Compressed Air is the most common form of Scuba diving. Those of you new to this sport must remember 2 Cardinal Rules.
1- NEVER DIVE WITHOUT A DIVE BUDDY.
2- PLAN YOUR DIVE & DIVE YOUR PLAN.

I have been diving since 1972 (thats 39 years!) probably twice as old as most that subscribe to this forum. There have been very few changes in this sport when it comes to rules and guidelines. Learn the rules, obey the rules, and teach the rules. I hope you too will discover the world of diving this planet as much as I have been fortunate to have had the privilage to dive. And perhaps, just maybe, for the few that really get drawn into the dream of making this sport into a career, you must have a guenine burn to want your dream with a clear focus on the goal, this coupled with the constant never-quitting belief in yourself.
