Who's had fun with a GoPro? I'm sick of staring down at a still camera, messing with buttons, etc. The idea of a head-mount little video camera, then messing with it later on the computer sounds cool. GoPro admits to blurring due to the curved lens. They also state that a flat lens adapter is in the works. Is it available. Plus, a red filter would be nice.

I have the Eye of Mine Flat housing and it works great and is good to 180 to 200 feet. This camer is great fo the price! There is also a new flat lens Blur fix that looks nice and you can add filters to it for above and below water but is only good to 130 feet. MartyCavern on here has a lot of good info on this and other flat lens conversions.

Personally I'd pass on the head mount - there's so much this-way-and-that in the video that it'd give you motion sickness.

All the best, James

I've read elsewhere that the head mount strap comes loose under water easily, but it seems like that would be easily fixed with a velcro chin strap. I have a GoPro and we've used it on our motorcycle trips a few times, can't wait to use it under water in Jamaica in 6 weeks! Thanks for the link to Eye of Mine - I'm going to rush right over there and check that out!

I love mine. Got the mako spearguns flat lens and it works great to 180 feet. Recently tried the head mount, not too bad, but i wore it under the hood, would not trust it over the hood or without some kind of chin strap or something. Did back rolls off the boat with no problem.
