I recently purchased a scooter and was wondering what those of you with a GoPro use to mount it to the scooter? I was thinking of just using am adhesive pad but am thinking of maybe something else that offers more versatility.

Thanks!

I used Vented Helmet Mount with a bit of modification. I removed the padding and the nylon strap. I then went to REI and got 5' of nylon strap of the same width. I then weaved the strap through the mount, around the scooter, up through one clip, back around the scooter, then used the other clip. I added an o-ring to keep the loose end from flopping free.

See attachments:

First is the feeding with the strap loose so you can see the routing.
Second is how I secure the one end. The tension caused by the strap locks that end down.
Third is a shot to show the placement.

A couple things:
Nylon stretches when wet. My advice is to put the mount on and pull the straps tight. Then fill up the tub and let that thing soak for an hour or so then pull it tight again. Repeat the soak and tighten a few times until it doesn't stretch anymore.

If you haven't gotten a flat port lens/housing get one :D

Thanks! That's exactly the type of thing I was looking for
