I Lost my GoPro Hero on The USS Duane In Key Largo. I was moored to the bow bouy surfacing from the dive. The current was pretty strong, so It could have landed back on the deck of the Duane. Hey, miracles can happen! I had my whole weeks dive on the SD card.
