Similar way. You export the dive info to CSV, clear it out, and then import it with a subtitle plugin on Final Cut to place info on screen.

I've tried this in Adobe Premiere and it worked great a few years ago, but I am about to test if it stills works one of these days.

@Deep Wreck Diver has implemented a very neat overlay of the Shearwater readings in his videos. Not sure if his method is publicly available but maybe he can share here.
