While diving in Providencia I met a French lady with a GP 13 (the same lady that was present in the fatality in Galapagos a week or so ago).

Her footage was incredible compared to that of my GP10. I thought it was all in the post processing but when I asked her if she was using Adobe or Da Vinci she had no idea what I was taking about. Her post processing was simply using the filters on the GP Quick app. Incredible difference in the quality.

Exactly how did the footage differ? I recently upgraded from GoPro9 to DJI Action 5, but my GP9 was not bad though I do use PowerDirector post.

It just looked lots clearer. When she showed me I thought she was doing lots of editing in Adobe or DaVinci but she didn’t even know what those were. She was just applying the GoPro Quick filters.

OK, need a little more info. How was the GoPro handled? Just a basic grip? Camera tray?
What about lights? What lighting was on each?
Probably won't matter, but I will ask anyway, what case was each in?

And a slew of camera settings. How wide of a view was it set to? Stability turned on? etc.

No lighting and she couldn’t tell me anything about the settings so nothing special. The first videos she showed me were dives in Asia so at first I thought well the difference was just due to different conditions but then she shows me dives that I was on and they were just so much better
