Getting my certification at the end of this month. I am a pretty hardy fella but would prefer to have a nice warm boot any suggestions for the sound?

drysuit...

But seriously, if wet, I'll layer neoprene socks inside "rock boot" type boots (the ones like the Deep6 with the neoprene inner liner)...

thanks i will check them out. been looking at the bare 7mm ultra warms.

I will be starting off in the aqualung Icelandic semi dry , with the semi dry gloves but my boots are only 6mm. I will most likely go dry in the future but for now I should be ok. Pretty resilient to the cold in general. heck I have not worn a coat in 14 years but my toes do get frosty at times.
