Since i'm in procrastination mode right now, i figured i'd post this. Not sure how many would be interested, but I'm sure some would be:

I got a DVD collection over christmas called Blue Planet. Its quite interesting - 8 documentaries about various ocean habitats like deep, shore, artic, reef etc. Lots of great footage of stuff i'm sure most of us never get to see. Check it out. I think it was a discovery documentary done by the BBC.

Heres a link just so you know what it is ( i think mine was cheaper from walmart but your mileage may vary)

Second thing is, i bought some old 60s Popular Science mags at an antique store, mostly with undersea related materials in them. These make for some very interesting reading as well.
