I have a Bare Velocity 3/2. The only issue I've had is that the velcro tab at the top of the back of the neck is tearing away a bit from the rest of the suit. But my wife has the same suit with no issues, so I think it may just be a fluke weakness in the neoprene. I probably should have returned it when I had the chance, but it doesn't seem to be getting worse, so it's fine. Still really like the suit. It's very comfortable and aside from the issue I just described, seems to be well made. Bare has a wider range of sizes than many brands, which is nice. Definitely recommended.

I have two Bare wetsuits and love them both, but keep in mind that a good value is dependent on how the wetsuit fits you. If it does not do what it is supposed to do, it is not a good value, no matter what the cost.

I have the Bare and it's really nice. I love the super flex (or whatever they call it) lumbar panel though the trade off is it's a little more difficult to get into because the zipper is shorter than average. It does have ankle zippers which I find nice for taking off and putting on, but once on, I can't zip them - it is too tight to zip over my boots. tucked into my boots doesn't really work either because it would be right under the boot zipper creating an excessive amount of discomfort on my ankle bone

Just to throw another option out there:

Cressi Summer Men's 2.5mm Jumpsuit

My wife has the women's version and I was surprised how nice a suit it is for the money. No kneepads though - if you believe you need them.
