I am going to Aruba with my 9 years old son tomorrow. I have been working for a few years preparing my future dive buddy. Now he is almost 10, so it is a "final touch". Please recommend me a few good snorkeling sites for us. It would be nice if I could dive (yes I understand it would be not a very advanced dive :)) at some of them also.

I heard that some Aruba wrecks are good for snorkeling too, so any recommendations here?

Any shore snorkeling(diving) sites?

Also any advises about dive operators/trips/sites(diving) are MORE then welcome too :))

Thanks a lot :)

We where in Aruba back in 2007..

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort right on Pelican Pier. We dove with Unique water sports i belieave it was called.

I also did a snorkeling day with my wife ( none diver) and we snorkeled two locations one was on the Antila ( GREAT DIVE/ and Snorkel Location ) and then again in a bay on a reef... and i tell you TONS Of fish.

Not much off the beach and we did not travel far, the dive operators picked us up right at Pelican Pier and drop us off there a 2 min walk from the hotel.
