Go for the new AquaLung Calypso. Outperforms most and costs next to nothing.

If your LDS has AquaLung, the Titan LX has a balanced first and balanced second stage, for not much more money than the new Calypso.

I would give another vote for the Apeks reg. Preforms great in cold water....one of my buddies has 1000 dives on it and it breathes the same as it did on the first several dives. But isn't that what a regulator is to do?
