good place for open water dive?

Hello.

My wife and I need to take the last two open water dives to complete the Padi course and was wondering if anyone can rec a good place to take the open water dives as the water over here (Belgium) will not be warm enough for some time.

So looking for somewhere warm, and a good school etc that will take a refferal from our local club.

Any input appreciated

I assume you want to make a vacation of it, which is what I would do.

There are many, many places that would be great for you, scattered all over the warmer parts of the globe.

Think of a place that you might reasonably want to vist for a brief or extended vacation, one that has decent diving. Once you have a couple of places in mind, restate your question, naming your top choices. You may even want to go to the section on this forum that is divided into parts of the world--you will get good insider information there.

Bonaire; Sanddollar Resort,
The staff are very competent and very helpfull, the diving is perfect for learner divers as there is no current to speak off. The house reef is < 100 meters from the peir.
The only problem is it will spoil you for most European Diving.
Dutch Antilles, direct flight from Amsterdam. Not the cheapest but probably one of the best.
