I'd be surprised if you've clicked on my profile information, so I'm going to repeat myself a bit in saying who I am. You don't mind, do you?
Ok. So. I'm a marine biology student who has shamefully gone far too long without a scuba certification. My wonderful partner is a hobby reef tank builder who also lacks in the scuba experience. More shame on him, he's a Miami native.
To fix such a devastating mistake, I'm in the process of setting up a "surprise" certification for his birthday. By summer, we should both have a few dives under our belt. It's pretty difficult to keep such an exciting secret.
I have lots and lots of beginner questions that I'll keep to myself until I've had a chance to go through the different threads. No one likes repeating questions.
