Good Locations around the area?

Can anyone suggest to me some good locations around Southern California that would be good for photography? I overheard one of my customers talk about a location around san diego with a cave, was wondering if anyone knows where he was talking about?

I don't know about underwater caves in that area. But they may have been talking about Carlsbad Caverns.

Except these are in Carlsbad, New Mexico. A bit of a haul from San Diego, CA.

There's a Carlsbad in California just north of San Diego, but it doesn't have caverns. Only the one in New Mexico does.

La Jolla Cave Store in San Diego California great historical tourist attraction. A family vaction site on the pacific ocean.

Your going to need to hop on a boat and head to Catalina Island, Best diving in socal Amazing place.

thank you guys for the great info! I will definitely be checking out the Sunny Jim Cave. I'm just starting to take photography and I want to find some of the more interesting spots around the area.

There's also the Blue Cavern out at Catalina Island as well.

Blue Cavern is a tough dive at Santa Catalina, generally a live boat dive and permission from Wrigley is preferred. For fun Fotog opportunities in So Cal, get into the numerous kelp forests or wrecks and explore. Caves are just a thing...
