I want to protect the upper loop pieces with the same idea as seen above on JJ CCR. What are good fabric and design choices? Do folks use velcro (a-la rEvo loop covers) or stick with single pieces that are pulled on the loop?

Is this for the Meg? I'm interested 👀

What about something like that? They have other materials available also.
I sent you a different link too

the fathom hose covers use something called superfabric. originally they were sewed into a permanent loop but the new ones appear to have velcro

Do you know Fathom loop hose diameter? I wonder if I can repurpose those.

Can you measure the Meg rear loop hoses outside diameter? I dont have mine handy.

My wetsuit guys have different grades of urethane coated or not cordura and thicknesses of neoprene

and sewing machines

Imagine having them make the tubes you want, that fit perfectly the first time, rather than repurposing

Yegor – Aramid Gewebe, flammenhemmend – Anthrazit

This is what I use on Choptima, home made, so could even make one slightly bigger to leave space for Nerd cable.
Shop is Germany based. They have websites in diff languages though. Either email if US shipping would be an option or find equivalent in US I guess.
Plenty of other aramid based fabrics as well, pick to your heart's content. They also sell threads and velcro tape.
Just need to find a sewing machine and somebody knowing how to use it. Probably the biggest challenge in 2025.
