Hello all, I'm currently deployed to Africa with the Kansas Guard, and whilst here, got back into diving (got OW cert in 98). Over the course of a year, I've logged about 60 dives (plus a few that I didn't log 'cause my book was still in KS), and advanced my cert to MSD (yesterday actually). I still have about a month here in Africa and then I get to go back to cold Kansas.
Anyway, found this board, been reading around, but that little thing at the top of the page keep telling me that I need to introduce myself, so here I am. I'll be doing most of my diving around Kansas (so... Missouri), although I have a honeymoon planned to HI in September and will be in Jamaica in August of 2012 for another wedding (not mine.....).
I'm fairly experienced underwater, but still have no idea what's going on with equipment, which is part of the reason I started hanging out here. Looking to pick up my own gear, but not really sure which way to go. Actually, I dove a Ranger a few (20 or so) times and ended up picking up one of those used... So, if anyone else has any other suggestions for Reg, Computer, etc, I'd be more than willing to listen to any advice from people with more dives under their belt.
Take care,
bucket
