im guessing the Himma is out because its a 50mtr dive (approx 160ft)

hubby quite likes the apartments and colours - on a good day you get lots of fishlife BUT NO SHARKS

the Grey Nurse Sharks at are Magic Point/Maroubra and on sunday there was only 2 there

Froggies boat is a semi rigid inflatable and they do single dives so you you park/gear up and walk about 20ft across the sand and wade to the boat (about 3ft) and get on the boat.

IF you do sunday, the good thing is that you can then do a shore dive around the nets and take pics of seahorses - if pics are your thing plus they have a few cafe's around to sit and enjoy the rest of your day

pity you missed last sunday - great club dive at Bare Island

if you have any questions about froggies or their operation, just ask

cheers

edit: if long reef, take money for parking meters. if balmoral get there early to get the free parking. in sydney the diving isnt expensive, the parking is!

Has anybody dived with both Frog Divers and Pro Divers?? Any preferences??

I have dived with both mobs and can say they are both excellent and very helpful crews. I cant say that I have a preference though. I pretty much chose based on dives and which store was closer and more familiar with the dive site.

dive sites, it really depends on what you want to see ..
weedy sea dragons - Kurnell is a guarantee, dive with either Abyss or ShiprockDive (plus moray, frogfish, nudis, big blue gropers and all other kinds of fish)
Thanks for that tip. AW
Yes .. Yes.. we want to see dragons. However, Our window for diving in Sydney is a Tuesday morning in November. What are the chances of getting a boat to see the dragons on a Tuesday morning?
Thanks

a boat

heheheh - sydney is known for their shore diving :multi:

Kurnell, max depth can be approx 18mtrs/60ft but as its on a incoming tide so when you say tues morning im wondering what time tides are the day you are here. i have dived it a few times on a outgoing tide but i wouldnt suggest just someone dive it unless they have someone to blame(ie guide) in case they start heading to NZ :D

i also see them at Bare Island and you can dive that any time (unless conditions are bad) and you could spot 1 or 2 of them but Kurnell is my choice for weedies - last dive there was about 14 of them

cheers

If you want to see sharks you should book to dive Magic Point where there is a colony of Grey Nurse sharks. South West Rocks and Fishrock Cave are brilliant for Sharks and heaps of fish. They have spotted an albino Adult Male Grey Nurse there. We normally dive with Fishrock Dive Centre there. If you can manage it is an amazing site.

have you seen dive centre manlys boat lately

dive with the mad frenchmen on Scubaroos, dive SeaTamer, dive frogdives before you go on DCM boat is my advice

and yes, the robin and liam at dive centre bondi run a very good shop/team

cheers
