Shadow Divers is good. If you like caves "The Darkness Beckons" do not know the auther and "Caverns Measurless to Man" by Sheck Exley. I have als read a few good fiction books but will have to look for the names.

Diver Down by Michael Ange is pretty good. Decent overview of different types of dive accidents.
I'm currently reading The Last Dive by Bernie Chowdhury but haven't got very far in it to say one way or the other.
I've also got Caverns Measureless to Man and Basic Cave Diving: A Blueprint for Survival both by Sheck Exley on hold at my local library. I'm really looking forward to those.

On a side note, if anybody has any recommendations for writeups of dive accidents (aside from Scubaboard, I've pretty much tapped that out) I'd love to hear them. It doesn't necessarily have to be a book. Web pages or other publications work too. I think I'm starting to disturb my wife with my search for all things dive accident related...

The Last Dive is a nice book.

There is a book on diving accidents, but I can't remember the name. I have it but it is in storage in another city. It doesn't fit in with my college books. At least not at the moment.

I know these are not diving books they do involve divers some.

Blind mans bluff - Cold war Spec ops Submarine stuff

The Terrible Hours - Rescue of the crew of the USS Squalus SS-192 Lots of stuff about Swede Momsen and the Momsen Lung

Shadow Divers...most definitely. It was a New York Times Bestseller...Dark Descent by Kevin McMurray...A fantastic book about the Empress of Ireland and diving her. Deep Descent by the same author...about fatalities on the Doria. Fatal Depth by Joe Haberstroh...another about the Doria. Diving the Graveyard of the Atlantic by Roderick Farb. Last Dive, as mentioned already is another good one.
Like 1 T Sumbariner...this is a non-diving book but fantastic nontheless...Iron Coffins by Herbert Werner. Werner was a U-Boat Captain and tells first hand stories of the U-Boat battles of World War II.

Everything I've read that has already been listed (on this and the other thread) are good reads.. I've been picking up Gary Gentile's books and those are really good as well!

Cave divers by Robert Burgess is good, Helldiver's Rodeo is good ... lot's of good stuff out there!
