Okay, I'm excited! I just got notification that I've been selected to be part of the Gulf of Mexico Foundation/FGBNMS "teacher cruise" on July 10-14 to the Flower Gardens! There were eighteen of us selected from 10 states. The best part of it is the diving is completely underwritten by the GOMF! There are also two days of land-based workshops that provide tons of data and materials. I am totally pumped! Now, if the Gulf will only cooperate with manageable seas and currents (the last time I was in the Gulf, we got chased out by Hurricane Dolly!).

Sorry for the exuberance...I'm just really excited to get back "out there", and to be included in a cruise like this just makes it that much better!
 
Congratulations!!! That sounds like so much fun and just think of what all you'll learn!
