Going to Donsol - 06th - 12th January 2007, Advise and buddies anyone?

Sorry to hear about the weather and no whale sharks...

We're in Donsol in April '06 and had 10 sightings of the whale shark (all in 1 day) although I wasn't sure if they were 10 individuals. Water temperature was also higher - I think it was ~26degC or higher. Good luck, and I do hope you would see the whale shark in April.

if on season, Feb to June, u snorkel only w d whalesharksss at Donsol from 9 AM to 1 PM, almost 100 % encounter, no more no less, u can only took a head shot, side head shot n a tail shot on d surface w a small waterproof camera. never seen any whaleshark at Southern Leyte, Sogod bay, but the scuba diving was great!becouse of the attraction, it is easy to go real deep w/o u knowing it if not watch ur divecom timely!
