This will be my first time aboard the Spectre tomorrow and I have a few questions...

We will be driving up from Long Beach and were thinking about going up tonight and sleeping on the boat, is this recomended? Do we need to bring all of our own bedding?

Would it be feasable to drive up early in the AM?

Is anybody else going?

Thanks!

Staying overnight on the boat should not be a problem. They supply a blanket and a pillow, but you could bring a sleeping bag. IIRC, you can board the boat after 7 PM.

One more thing..be careful going down the ladder fro the sun deck...:shakehead

If the weather tomorrow is like today, should be a "fine day out".

Have fun, be safe!

Cheers!

how was your trip on the spectre?

the spectre isnt my favorite boat. i prefer the peace to all the ventura boats. when i visited the spectre, the crew wasnt that friendly, the dive spots sucked, and the sleeping quarters were horribly cramped.
