My husband and I recently visited Antigua on a cruise and although the cruise was great, we were oh-so-disappointed that they didn't offer diving excursions at many of their ports, one of which was Antigua. I looked up AntiguaScuba Center and have to spread the word ~ if you're ever in Antigua, go, go, go diving with AntiguaScuba Center! Carlo and his team are the best! We've dove at more than 20 islands over the years and they were by far the best. They were extremely professional, organized, reliable and informative. They made us feel at ease and comfortable from the minute we met them. They sent us detailed itineraries and followed each and every detail to the minute. They kept the groups smaller so we really got personalized attention. We hated to leave Antigua and can't wait to go back and visit them. Best wishes, all, and trust us on this one.

Nice first post, Carlo.

An experienced 20 island traveller such as your self... why-oh-why would you go on a cruise that didn't offer diving? Hmmm.

What cruise ship line was that, exactly?

Where are they based? All of my clients have used Dive Antigua. How are the reefs? Last I knew the lack of permanent moorings, run off and storm damage had compromised the health of many dive / snorkel sites. I have been living or traveling to Antigua since 87 and have seen a rapid decline. Hopefully someone in the govt. will step up to the plate and start to examine this matter.
