I shot 2 hours of footage in the dive park and just finished editing it... in that much footage, much of it is sort of random, so what I tried to do here was to cut it into a sort of 5- minute narrative, that although not very exact in its spatial/temporal representation of the park, flows like a story and gets the idea across. It does cut back from POV to me and my dive buddy to sort of tell the story of us diving. This seems like a different approach than some people like. Any thoughts on this? This is just my 2nd attempt to film underwater and I am still figuring this out. I edited on the new version of Final Cut Pro, which has its own issues as everyone has probably heard. I use the Eye of Mine housing, and an LCD back, no artificial lights. The video starts out around 20 feet, bottoms out at 45 to 50, and is mostly around 30.
