Not true. These "round robin" games don't really mean elimination. They just determine positioning and home ice advantage. All 8 teams go to the quarter finals. You can lose all the preliminary games and still win the gold.

US took care of the Slovaks in short order today. I thought taking Hull out of the lineup was insane, but it may have done something after all.

The game was pretty even for most of the first period but baby, we came on strong in the second. I'm predicting a CAnada-US final. We can't count out either the Czechs or the Fins but this is the most likely outcome.

Glad to see the US is doing so well without Brett Hull. I never liked that guy. What a traitor. You don't see any American players living in Canada playing for us. The thing is, instead of taking it gracefully, he's acting like a spoiled brat and sh**ting on the fans. They aren't the ones who benched him. I'm loving it!!!
