I am trying to find a 5-mil glove that is NOT gauntlet style, any recommendations?

I love the gloves I have now, but they come down very far on my wrist and sometimes they interfere with the wrist seals on my drysuit.
Thanks.

Can you have your dive shop cut them down? Mine does that for me, at least with my tropicals.

I have Akona 5 mm gloves that I love so far:

I wear them with my drysuit, however I have found that in the low thirties water I've been diving in this spring, they haven't been quite warm enough so I've ordered a set of the Oceaner dry mitts for colder days:

For short dives tho, the Akona were great, even in the cold water!

I have used both Akona and DeepSee gloves with my drysuit and they work well. I prefer the Titanium lined gloves over the others - they seem to be have a bot less water flow compared to non similar non Ti lined gloves.

Another option are the neoprene gloves sold in Walmart or other department store in the sporting section. They are I believe designed for use by fishermen. They are usually very form fitting (much better than the average diving glove), have short cuffs, and are priced in the $8.00-$10.00 range. One problem is that many of the models I have seen currently have drain holes punched in them which ruins an otherwise very good scuba glove.

Mike,

Are these warm enough in very cold water, let's say 4* C (= 30* F)? Even after 1 hour?

Sorry, I can't comment about temps that cold, as I've only taken them down to the high 40's F. Now that I've got zip gloves, the titanium deepsee's have become backups.

No prob Mike.

May be anybody else can share their experience with these titanium gloves from deepseeinc? Or the Akona? What I'm looking for is the best wet gloves for cold water.
