After yesterday's rain and large surf, I didn't expect to see much today. I wasn't disappointed. We battled chop around the peninsula and didn't find anywhere worth diving until we reached White Point Rock. We found some surge and ten feet of visibility on the small reef. Usually that is enough fo me to find a lot of interesting critters, but today I spent most of the dive removing monofiliment line from the reef. I managed to fire off a few pictures, but each time I looked over at Merry, she was giving her camera a workout. I hope she had better luck than I.

Nice Club tipped shots. 10ft of vis after high swell and rain is mighty fine. Is Merry going to post her shots?

She's still working on them. I stupidly tried to shoot a lot of wide angle today. I deleted over 40 shots in a row. :(
Hopefully next weekend will be better.

What is that last nudibranch? I don't recognize that one.

If I got that many good shots from a dive, I'd be thrilled . . . you need to dial your expectations down a bit :)

Definitely a macro day. Some nice captures regardless of the conditions.

Hi Phil,

It's not on Kens slug cards. I guess he needs to go to White Point & get some shots of them.

Beautiful :) Thank you for sharing that. I enjoyed it.

We've also found a few rare nudis on the Marineland platform this year.
