This past weekend, Ginnie was beautiful. The weather was great, the crowds were way down, and the diving was great. Saw a manatee swimming away from us and disappearing into the tannic river, but unfortunately, we were out of the water when they came up the run. The tannic water over the Ear is slowly receding, although it is still noticeable. More photos at DonCurriePhotos.com and CaveDivingPhotos.com

I got some shots this weekend as well. This one is probably one of the better shots, although one of my dive buddies probably should have clipped the reel off to his left hip d-ring instead of his butt d-ring, because it definitely looks like...well...you get the idea. :rofl3:

Hah! That...uh....reel picture is hysterical! Nice shots Don. Brian...you're just getting famous these days aren't you?

Some more shots...
This trip was the inaugural dunking for my camera and housing (Canon A570IS P&S + Ikelite housing) if you discount when I tested it in the pool. I actually used it in Madison before this, but without a strobe the shots weren't fantastic. There was just enough light looking up from the bottom of the Ear (while desperately holding on for dear life!) to keep the shutter speed high enough so the pictures wouldn't get blurred.

Don I hope you don't mind me adding to the thread! :)

Yeah, it's fun trying to hold your own at the bottom of the ear and aim, focus, shoot. You did a good job.

And, no, I don't mind you adding to the thread :D

Nice shots. Thanks for sharing!
