I'm trying to find the Insulation Room Whale Bone, and I hoping it doesn't take a half a dozen dives to find it. So I've heard that if you go past the broom stick you went to far. Is that based on taking a left or right at the first Tee? Any other tips, it looks pretty black based on the pictures I saw from the restoration.

So Insulation Room is on a small circuit, and how you find the bone depends on the direction you're taking. Are you swimming clockwise or couterclockwise?

Without knowing the direction, the best advice I can give you this: look at the walls very carefully. There is going to be a dark / untouched space on the wall with a visible light spot and a brick sticking out of it. If you go clockwise on the circuit, the spot/bone will be on your left-ish side. Btw, unless you've seen a bone in Ginnie - there are at least 2 more - it is hard to describe it. If you're looking or hoping for something looking like a dinosaur bone, you won't find it. It is literally a black brick looking thing.

IIRC, the spare around the bone is much lighter now, and the "brick" stands out.

We were going to go right at the first Tee so I guess counterclockwise. But it sounds like to do the usual look for signs of lots of traffic.

I just did that dive about a week or two ago. We went right at the tee. I wasn't in the lead (Chris was showing me around), but I remember it was kind of straight ahead while the line was making a left turn (so to the right of the line). From what I remember, like mentioned, there was a bit of a lighter area of the wall around the bone; it's stuck into the wall at I'd say maybe 3-4 feet from the floor?

It was before the back to back arrows halfway through the circuit (side note - the back to back arrows are hidden coming from that side - the line goes up and to the left and the arrows are right behind the lip of the ceiling).
