Gilboa This Weekend 1/20 or 21 anybody?

I plan on going to Gilboa this comming weekend 1/20-21 and wanted to see if anyone wanted to join me? I'm meeting up with mikiedfd17 on the 21st but could use a buddy for the 20th and figure the more the merrier! I do have a canopy with walls and a heater!

Unfortunately, too cold for me this weekend (diving wet w/ 5 mil). Darn...need to get that dry suit.

But, would really like to join you in the future.

Well, if it weren't for the 5 hour drive.....

5 Hours??? It's 3, maybe 3:10 from my house and Holland is no 2 hours from me!

No matter, apparently my ex forgot to mention that she needed me to watch the kids on Saturday :shakehead. And since the response has been so overwhelming it looks like Mike and I may just do Lake 16. If anyone wants to come out for that, if it isn't too frozen we'll be there on Sunday.

So with a potty break and lunch......

I am tied up on Saturday but we may get excited enough to do Lake 16 again soon!

If you do confirm Lake 16 on Sunday afternoon, let me know. I wanted to go last Sunday but was tied up at church later than normal.

I drove by Lake 16 on the way home today and it is covered with ice. It doesn't look too thick but it is, as far as I could see, completely covered. I don't mind a bit of skim but it's a little much for me. Looks like we'll have to postpone until we get a heat wave. If anyone is still interested in Gilboa, I can call Mike tomorow and see what conditions there are like.
