I am hoping to get out and get wet sometime in the next few weeks and was wondering what the water temps were at Gilboa these days?

Here's Gilboa's page on water temps:
http://www.divegilboa.com/conditions.shtm

That said, this late in a normal summer (which this hasn't been), it's usually in the 70s on the surface and drops about 15 degrees with every thermocline. Most of the stuff is below the first thermocline, so plan on being around 55 degrees for most of the dive. There is some stuff (the tubes for example) are in about 60 feet and will be colder, but the bulk of the stuff is in the 35-40 foot range and should be somewhere in the 50s for water temp.

I haven't been to gilboa in a few months, so I'm not sure what the current temps are - this is just speaking from previous times I've been there.

39F at the bottom.
does that ever change?

At any rate, for this time of year, I'd expect mid to upper 50's around 25 to 40'

Somewhere from 48 to 52 from 45 to 60 feet

I'd expect low 40 to mid 40s in the deepest part of the shallow side (80+-ish feet)

One day...when I stop working (well, travelling anyway so I can spend more than 2 weeks at home) I need to get out and use that season pass thing I bought back in april....

Was there last Saturday - the thermometer at the tubes (60 ft) read 45 degrees. Surface was like 65 and I didn't check the guage at 35-40 but it felt high 50ish to maybe 60 by the Gulfstream. Got one good dive in before the onslaught of students murked-out the viz. Even with that once we got passed the CAT-III IFR conditions around the boats and the Gulfstream it wasn't bad (maybe 20-30 ft) close to the wall and along the mini-wall. Never seen the place so busy.
