Gilboa 7/1-2

I'm giving some serious thought to heading up to Gilboa on 7/1-2. I'd be camping there Saturday night. Anybody interested in meeting up there for the weekend? I would most likely be arriving late morning on Saturday and would be staying through to Sunday afternoon.

Maybe you will have Gilboa all to yourself. I would be there with you but I already have a dive trip to the Louisville and David Dows scheduled for that time frame. (Lake Michigan) Have a good time at Gilboa. Try to make a slow swim through the tubes and as soon as you exit the end of the tube... look up. You may see the infamous paddlefish. They live on that side and can be seen if you are slow and try to be quiet. I saw them in May. They are really cool and prehistoric looking. I could possibly meet up with you to dive at Gilboa the following weekend if that would work for your schedule. (Sat 7/8 - Sun 7/9) Let me know if you would be interested. Thanks. Have a great day.

Have a great trip. Unfortunately, I have to finish up my AOW dives that weekend and we'll be diving close to home. Thanks for the invitation however!

I'd like to pay Gilboa a visit sometime between the 1st and the 4th. Mornings are the best for me, but if someone will be there then evenings is OK too.

One other Hoosier will be there Saturday morning. Not sure if I should mention Dave's name or not.

Having not heard much from folks about Gilboa, I've adjusted my plans and am heading to Haigh on Sun/Mon instead. Looks like there will be quite a few SB members at Haigh those days. Looking forward to seeing some of the folks I met at the M&G again (Dean and Robb) and hopefully meeting some new SB folks.

Thanks B2. I am going to get back up to Gilboa in either late July or August and it will probably be a weekday. I'll be sure and let you know.

Had a good trip to Haigh this weekend. Had a chance to dive with Dean810 and ElectricBear. Great diving and even better company!
