Off the deck of a bird farm. Not recomended for those without the proper training and a local bird farm. ;)

With twin 90's, mask, fins, boots and shorts.

OOOOUUUUCHHHHH!!!!! Dude... there ARE lower points of entry ya' know... :rofl3: :rofl3:

U DA' MAN!!!!

did one from 25 feet in to a 50 feet water, it was smooth...make sure not to inflate your BCD all the way....just enough to make you float....

The highest was off the Vision (Truth Aquatics) out of Santa Barbara. It's about 18 feet and yep - don't look down. I've done this many times but in a rip current, it's hard to make the anchor line. You are slamming against the boat by the time you recover from the jump.:11doh:

Not when your in training there aren't. :D

If you want the boys to still be boys you do it right the first and every time. You could be a statistic if you don't.

About 25 feet from the deck of a large ship wearing a commercial diving hard hat, no fins, no bouyancy control device, and about 35 pounds of lead. There was 75 feet of water under us.
You really have to trust your tender will let out enough unbilical to let the water cushion you but no so much that you'll drop enough to injure your ears. And that the tender won't let themselves get yanked into the water, that would be bad.
Also went in from a dock from about 20 feet with the hat but with fins and a BC. That was kind of interesting.
Straight scuba, maybe 10 feet max, but having done it with so much more stuff on me I wouldn't hesitate from 30 feet.

A high giant stride with a fully inflated wing and tight crotch strap is quite an experience.

Once in pitching seas I stood at the edge of the dive platform and looked out at what would have been about 5 - 6 feet of drop to the water's edge, HOWEVER ....by before my fins left the deck the boat rose up on a swell and the drop about doubled.

Long way down and things were a bit discombobulated for several seconds after hitting the water.

My guess is if you did a high dive with crotch strap, you can hit the high notes quite easily...

OUCH!!! You guys... are killin' ME... and I'm a lady! LOL Some of those drops just hafta hurt! EEK!

For some of those drops... 10, 20+ feet... I think I'd assume the "stride position"... stand on the edge... hand over reg/mask, one leg out, fin tip up... and then require a nice push from someone behind me! Wow! You all have balls! (Uh... well... maybe not anymore! Hah!)
