I am currently in Bolinao/Philippines, where the University of the Philippines breeds giant clams for re-stocking of wild populations. This gives me the chance to photograph the beautiful patterns on the skin of these large mollusks. I thought I'd share a few shots.
I really like these patterns, and without a reference (like the small fish) one doesn't even realize the scale of what one is looking at.
