Most are with a strobe (YS-01), but on a fairly low setting - personal preference.

Hi Phil,
Did you get out on the bay on the weekend? Weather reports scared a few of us away but it seems to have turned out all right?

What do you thin of your S&S strobe Seems to be a few conflicting reports about them?
I have two of the little Inons and I'm not so sure about them either, the light quality is certainly different from what I'm used to. . .

Hi Bruce,
The weather was cactus on Saturday & a lot of boats were cancelled. Also Eastlink northbound was closed on Sun so that closed the peninsula off for me. I managed to get in at Jawbone sanctuary (right next to Williamstown) on Sunday morning, so at least I got wet - only 3-4m vis, but better than no dive. I had a new diver with me so that took priority over photos.

Next weekend we are diving freshwater again (Eildon), so I'm not worried about swells or tides.

The little YS-01 is working fine so far, but I have only had it for 2 weeks so early days.

Phil
